7.Scroll down and click on "Reset" or "Reset app".
8. Click "Reset" on the confirmation window to indicate that you wish to reset the application.
9. Wait a few moments until the reset process is complete.
10. When finished, reopen the WhatsApp Desktop application and log in to your WhatsApp account.
Note:
Resetting the app will erase all user settings and preferences. This will restore the app to default settings.
