This article will discuss one of the printer problems, namely spooling. Printer Spooling, which is an acronym for Simultaneous Peripheral Operations On-line, is the term given to a computer system that receives and forwards printing orders.
To stop printer spooling on Windows computers, you can follow these steps :
1. By putting "services.msc" into the search bar on the "Start" page or by running the command in the Command Prompt or Run dialog box, you can access "Services".
2. Find and double click on the "Print Spooler" service to open it.
3. Select "Stop" to stop the service.
4. After closing the Services window, try printing once more. You might attempt to restart the service to see if the issue still exists.
5. By right-clicking on "Print Spooler," choosing "Properties," and then choosing "Disabled" in the starting type drop-down menu, you can permanently disable the printer spooling service.
Please be aware that disabling the printer spooling service will prevent the printer from processing print queues and printing documents until the service is restarted.
